Jewellery advent calendars have become one of the most talked about Christmas buys in the UK, and Missoma has its own limited edition range for 2026. This year the jewellery brand offers three versions: an 18ct gold plated calendar, a silver plated calendar and a far more expensive 9ct solid gold edition.
Unlike beauty calendars stuffed with sample sizes, each Missoma calendar contains just six full size jewellery pieces presented in a velvet jewellery case. That makes the maths easy to check. Below we compare the price of each calendar, as listed on the Missoma website on 2 November 2026, with what the same pieces cost when bought one by one.

What Missoma Puts Inside the 2026 Calendars
According to the product pages, the gold and silver calendars contain the same six designs, in different finishes:
- Pave Spike Stud Earrings
- Classic Chubby Small Hoop Earrings
- Mini Mariner Chain Necklace
- Mini Mariner Chain Bracelet
- Ridge Star Chain Bracelet
- Stone Double Huggie Earrings
The pieces arrive in a dusky pink velvet jewellery case that Missoma values at £125, packed inside a burgundy satin pouch. The case has compartments for necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, so it can be used as a jewellery box once December is over. Missoma describes the six styles as a capsule wardrobe designed to be worn long after Christmas.

The Maths: Gold Plated Calendar
The 18ct gold plated calendar costs £249. Missoma says the contents are worth £693. We checked the individual gold plated prices on the site and the numbers line up:
| Piece (18ct gold plated) | Price if bought alone |
|---|---|
| Pave Spike Stud Earrings | £69 |
| Classic Chubby Small Hoop Earrings | £65 |
| Mini Mariner Chain Necklace | £149 |
| Mini Mariner Chain Bracelet | £98 |
| Ridge Star Chain Bracelet | £98 |
| Stone Double Huggie Earrings | £89 |
| Velvet jewellery case (brand valuation) | £125 |
| Total value | £693 |
| Calendar price | £249 |
The jewellery alone adds up to £568. Even if you ignore the case completely, the calendar costs less than half of what the six pieces would cost separately. If you would only ever wear two or three of them, though, the real saving is smaller. For example, the necklace and both bracelets on their own come to £345.

Silver Plated Calendar
The silver version costs £239 and Missoma puts its value at £635. Based on the silver plated prices listed on 2 November, the six pieces come to £510: Pave Spike Studs £59, Classic Chubby Small Hoops £55, Mini Mariner Necklace £139, Mini Mariner Bracelet £89, Ridge Star Bracelet £89 and Stone Double Huggies £79. Add the £125 case and you reach the £635 figure.
According to the product details, the jewellery is recycled sterling silver plate on brass and platinum PVD plating on stainless steel. The gold version uses 18ct recycled gold plating on brass and PVD plating on stainless steel. The silver calendar is therefore the cheaper entry point if you already wear mostly silver tones.

Solid Gold Calendar: A Different Proposition
The 9ct solid gold calendar is priced at £1,295, with a stated value of £1,713. Here the saving is smaller in percentage terms, around 24 percent according to Missoma, because the pieces themselves are expensive. The listed contents are a Sapphire Baya Pendant Necklace (£315), Sapphire Baya Bracelet (£289), Diamond Molten Snow Huggie Earrings (£415), Molten Huggie Earrings (£259), Sapphire Trio Stud Earrings (£155) and Classic Stud Earrings (£155), all in 9ct solid yellow gold.

This version makes more sense for someone who wants fine jewellery that will last for years, rather than plated pieces. It is a large outlay, so it is worth checking that most of the six styles suit the person you are buying for.
A Smaller Option: Jewellery Baubles
If a full calendar is too much, Missoma also sells single jewellery baubles: a velour bauble containing either a pair of earrings or a bracelet. The gold plated baubles cost £75 and the silver plated ones £65. The earring version holds 10mm hoops with a small charm, while the bracelet version has a chain adjustable from 16cm to 19cm. These work well as stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts with a bigger budget.

Which Calendar Suits Whom
- Gold plated, 249 pounds: the best fit for someone who already wears warm gold tones and likes layering fine chains with small hoops.
- Silver plated, 239 pounds: the same six designs for silver lovers, and the cheapest of the three calendars.
- Solid gold, 1,295 pounds: a long term investment in 9ct gold with sapphires and diamonds, aimed at buyers who want fine rather than plated jewellery.
- Baubles, 65 to 75 pounds: a single pair of earrings or a bracelet for a smaller budget.
Things to Check Before You Buy
- The calendars are excluded from all promo codes, so do not expect to stack a discount code on top.
- Gift wrap is not available for the advent calendars, according to the product page.
- Missoma runs a Golden Ticket promotion: find one in your calendar and win 200 pounds of jewellery. Terms and conditions apply.
- UK standard delivery is free over 100 pounds and 3.95 pounds below that, with next day delivery available for 5.95 pounds if you order by 1pm.
- Klarna is offered at checkout if you want to split the cost.
- The calendars are sold while stocks last, so availability can change quickly as December approaches.
Our Verdict
On paper, the gold and silver Missoma advent calendars offer strong value: you pay roughly 40 to 45 percent of what the six pieces cost individually, before even counting the case. The catch is that you get a fixed selection. If you like hoops, fine chains and huggies, it is an easy recommendation. If you only want one statement necklace, buying it on its own may be smarter. Compare the options on the Missoma advent calendar page or browse the full Missoma jewellery range before you decide.
