Hybrid work has made the home office a permanent fixture, and many companies are rethinking their own offices too. One of the simplest upgrades for health and productivity is a height adjustable desk that lets you switch between sitting and standing during the day.

Desktronic, a specialist standing desk brand, sells three electric desks through its German online store. In this guide we compare the HomeOne, HomePro and HomeMax, look at the frame-only option, and explain the volume discounts available when you equip a whole team. Prices are in euros including VAT, from desktronic.de at the time of writing.

Why Sit-Stand Desks Make Business Sense

Sitting for long periods is widely linked to back pain and fatigue. A sit-stand desk makes it easy to change position several times a day, without leaving your work. For employers, comfortable workstations are also part of attracting and keeping staff, whether people work in the office or at home.

    HomeOne: The Best-Seller

The HomeOne is Desktronic’s best-selling desk and the natural choice for most home offices. It uses a dual-motor system that raises the desk at 30 mm/s, lifts up to 120 kg and runs at under 50 dB, quiet enough for calls. The control panel has three memory presets, and integrated USB-A and USB-C ports keep your phone charged.

It comes with a pre-drilled, one-piece top in 120×60, 140×70 or 160×80 cm, and a choice of frame colours including white, black and grey, plus limited-edition olive green, midnight blue and dusty pink. Prices run from €349 to €499 depending on size and finish.

    HomePro: More Range, More Speed

The HomePro is the brand’s most powerful desk. Its three-stage columns give a much wider height range, from 61 to 125.5 cm without a top, so it suits both very short and very tall users. It moves at 50 mm/s, which Desktronic says takes it from sitting to standing in about 6 seconds, and it can lift up to 160 kg.

Tops go up to 200×80 cm, with premium solid oak, solid walnut and American walnut options, which explains the wide price range of €449 to €1,799. It has a touchscreen with three memory slots and USB-A and USB-C ports. View the HomePro.

    HomeMax: The Four-Leg Design Desk

The HomeMax is something different: a four-leg electric desk that looks more like a classic table. Four quiet motors lift it at up to 32 mm/s with a capacity of up to 100 kg. It features soft ambient lighting, anti-collision and child-lock functions, and comes with a magnetic cable tray and double hooks, which are normally sold separately.

Desktronic HomeMax four-leg electric desk with wooden top and black frame

It is offered in one size, 160×80 cm, with premium solid wood or compact laminate tops, from €999 to €1,999. It is the choice for a home office that doubles as a living space.

Already Have a Desktop? Buy the Frame Only

If you have a tabletop you love, or want to fit a custom top, Desktronic sells its frames separately. The extendable HomeOne frame costs €279 and the HomePro frame €379, a cost-effective way to convert existing office furniture.

    Volume Discounts for Teams

For businesses, the most interesting feature is the automatic volume discount in the desks category. It is applied in the basket on top of the current price:

    Number of desksDiscount
    5 to 910%
    10 to 1912%
    20 to 4915%
    50 or more20%

For example, ten HomeOne desks at the entry price of €349 would cost €3,490 before discount, or about €3,071 with 12% off. Check business pricing.

    Complete the Workstation

Desktronic SitPro ergonomic office chair in black

    • SitOne ergonomic chair, €339 to €349, with seat depth adjustment, 4D armrests and lumbar support.
    • SitPro ergonomic chair, €419 to €439, with nine adjustment points and a height-adjustable backrest.
    • Balance stool, €189, adjustable from 57 to 82 cm for active sitting at a raised desk.
    • Monitor arm, €89 to €129 in single or dual versions.
    • Cable Tray Pro with integrated power strip, €119.

Setting Up Your Standing Desk Correctly

    • Set the desk so your elbows are at roughly a right angle when typing, both sitting and standing.
    • Place the top of your screen at or slightly below eye level; a monitor arm makes this easy.
    • Save your sitting and standing heights in the memory presets so switching takes one touch.
    • Alternate regularly rather than standing all day, and consider an anti-fatigue mat or balance stool.

    Shipping, Returns and Warranty

Desktronic offers free shipping, a 30-day money-back guarantee and up to 15 years of warranty, and it advertises a best-price guarantee. Tools are included and Desktronic provides assembly videos.

    Conclusion

For most home offices, the HomeOne offers everything you need from €349. Choose the HomePro if you are very tall or want large solid wood tops, and the HomeMax if design matters most. For businesses, volume discounts of 10 to 20% make Desktronic a strong option for kitting out a team. Shop Desktronic standing desks.
