How to Read a Hemp Gummy Label: Total mg, mg per Gummy and Price (Binoid Examples)

Walk into any hemp shop, online or offline, and the loudest number on a gummy jar is almost always the total: 5,000mg, 13,000mg, even 14,000mg. It looks like a measure of value, yet it says very little about what a single gummy contains. The number that matters for dosing is the amount per piece, and the number that matters for your wallet is the price per piece.

This guide explains how to read those numbers, using the gummy listings on the Binoid website as worked examples. All prices and specifications come from the product pages as they appeared on 26 October 2026 and can change, so always confirm the details on the product page before ordering.

Total mg Is Not Dose per Gummy

A jar labelled 13,000mg does not contain 13,000mg in each gummy. It is the sum across the whole jar. To find the amount in one piece, divide the total by the number of gummies. Binoid’s own listings do this for you in the description, which is a good habit to look for on any brand.

Some listings also mention a blend of several cannabinoids rather than a single one, so the total may be a combination such as THCA, Delta 9 and THC-P. If the label lists a blend, look for how the total is split, and look for third-party lab results.

Price per gummy is simply the listed price divided by the number of gummies. Many of these products have several flavour or size options, and the price shown is the one displayed on the listing on the day we checked, so your price may differ. Several items were also shown with a sale price against a higher regular price, which is another reason to check the live page.

Why the Cheapest Gummy Is Not the Best Value

In the table, a Frosted gummy costs more per piece than a 13,000mg Good Luck gummy. Yet the Frosted gummy is listed at 40mg of Delta 9 THC, while the Good Luck gummy is listed at 433.33mg of a cannabinoid blend. The two are not meant for the same user. A cheap piece is only a bargain if its strength suits you.

This is why the products are described in terms that should make a beginner pause. Binoid’s page for the 13,000mg gummies says they are for people with an extremely high tolerance, and suggests taking a quarter to half of a gummy and waiting two hours. The 14,000mg Turbo listing says it is not made for beginners. If you are new to hemp-derived THC, products measured in tens of milligrams per piece, rather than hundreds, are the more sensible place to start.

    Gummies, Seltzers and Other Formats

Gummies are only one format. Binoid also lists a THC seltzer in a four-pack at USD 19.99. The page describes 5mg of Delta 9 THC and 3mg of CBD in every can, which is a very different scale from the gummies above. Comparing formats this way, by amount per serving, is the fairest method.

Other listings pack a number of pieces into a small pouch. For example, the Brain Rot THCA Live Sugar gummies are sold as a two-pack with two oversized gummies, each stated at 1,000mg, for a total of 2,000mg. The page advises using a quarter of a gummy at a time.

    Reading the Small Print

Check how the product describes its serving. Some pages give a count and a per-piece amount, as the Blazed and Good Luck listings do. Others state only the total, in which case you should look for the number of pieces in the description or on the label photo. If neither is clear, ask the seller before buying.

Also notice the wording around effects. Sellers use phrases such as ‘extremely potent’ and ‘be very careful with dosing’, and these are signals about strength, not marketing decoration. Treat them as the brand’s own warning.

    A Quick Label Checklist

    • Count the pieces: divide the total mg by the number of gummies to get the dose per piece.
    • Check the cannabinoid: Delta 9, THCA, THC-P and others are not interchangeable, so read what is in the blend.
    • Look for lab results: a reputable seller publishes third-party test reports for each product.
    • Compare price per piece: divide the price by the count, then weigh it against the strength per piece.
    • Read the dosing advice: if the seller tells you to start with a fraction of a gummy, take that seriously.

    Safety and Legal Notes

These products are intended for adults aged 21 and over. Binoid describes its gummies as hemp-derived and says that some of them comply with the 2018 Farm Bill, but hemp and THC rules differ by state and by country, and they change over time. Check the rules where you live before ordering. Keep all edibles away from children and pets, do not drive or operate machinery after use, and speak to a healthcare professional if you have any medical concerns or take medication. This article is general information, not medical or legal advice.

    Final Thoughts

Reading a gummy label comes down to a few divisions. Total mg divided by count gives strength per piece, and price divided by count gives cost per piece. With those two numbers you can compare any brand fairly, instead of being swayed by the biggest figure on the jar. You can browse the full range, with the description and dosing note for each product, on the Binoid store.
